Danysu V-Neck Racerback Padded Tank Review: The Built-In-Bra Cami, Actually Comfortable

The padded cami with a built-in bra is one of those ideas that sounds perfect and rarely is — either the "bra" is a flimsy shelf that does nothing, or the pads are the removable kind that fold into origami in the wash. The Danysu V-neck racerback is the first one I've worn that actually delivers on the premise: enough support to skip a bra, enough comfort to forget you're wearing it.

The built-in bra is the star. It's a light, elastic support with soft padding sewn in (not the removable kind, thank god), and it gives enough lift and coverage that you can genuinely go braless underneath. The racerback keeps the straps where they belong, and the V-neck is flattering without being plunging. The fabric is a soft, breathable blend with a bit of stretch that holds its shape after washing.

I wore it under blazers, on its own with jeans, and to sleep once by accident, and it handled all three without complaint. The padding is light — this is not a push-up situation, so if you want real lift or you're fuller-busted, the support will fall short. It's really aimed at smaller-to-average busts looking for something easy and un-fussy.

The racerback keeps everything where it should be.

The downsides are modest: the padding is fixed, so if you want to remove it you can't; it runs a little snug in the band, so size up if you're between sizes; and the built-in bra means it's not the easiest thing to just toss in the dryer. But as an everyday, no-bra-required cami, it's quietly one of the best of its kind.
