Sometimes you buy the absurdly cheap thing just to confirm your own bias, and I was fully prepared to write a smug little review about how you get what you pay for. The joke was on me, because this set is actually decent — genuinely decent, not "decent for twelve bucks."

The set comes with a lace push-up bra and a matching panty, both in a soft floral lace that, in person, doesn't have that stiff, plasticky look cheap lace usually has. It's lightweight and has a bit of stretch, so it drapes against the body instead of sitting on top of it like armor. That's the single biggest thing that separates "lingerie" from "costume," and COCOMARTS clears it.

The bra does a real push-up — padded, underwired, with a bit of lift that reads as natural rather than "hello." The cups are on the small side, so fuller busts should size up, but for an A to C cup it's flattering and stays put through an evening. The panty is a cheeky cut with decent coverage up front, and honestly the two pieces look like they cost three times what the set did.

The lace is the surprise — soft, with real stretch.

Now the honest downside: it's delicate. The lace will snag if you're rough with it, and this is a hand-wash piece if you want it to survive more than a few wears.
